ACEWORKS to support software development and verification 'Aster'

Founded in 2009, Aceworks aims to be a company that provides proven solutions in a faster and more efficient way than anyone else under the slogan "To the Future Mobility."

It offers solutions in two main areas, electric vehicles (xEV) and autonomous driving. In the xEV field, batteries and cells are verified through battery cell simulators and other techniques, such as "HIL" (Hardware in the Loop) to support efficient development of electronic control units. Ace Works is also focusing on verifying the xEV field as SDV has recently become a hot topic in the automobile industry.

"The main business area is the development and verification of embedded (embedded) software in the mobility field," CEO Park said. "This aims to minimize human errors and increase product completeness."

In particular, Aceworks stands out in providing verification solutions through HIL equipment. Although several companies are using HIL verification methods, Ace Works can quickly develop and deliver customized HIL equipment for customers.

In the case of HIL, the verification target (hardware) is actually connected to the verification equipment, and various tests are conducted by simulating the environment in which the target is actually driven. Since the verification target is run in the actual finished product state and does not have to be tested, it not only reduces time and cost, but also enables testing for extreme situations that do not occur easily. Based on this capability, ACEWORKS is exclusively supplying Hyundai Motor's Battery Management System (BMS) software verification equipment.

CEO Park said, "Now, we are generating the most sales in verification solutions," and added, "We are securing about 80% of sales only by verifying electric vehicles."
