Ways to Vitalize Business Communication Utilizing 3D Modeling – Strengthening Design Competencies through SOLIDWORKS and eDrawings
On September 11th, ACEWORKS held an in-house seminar centered on a practical question: how can 3D modeling improve the way teams communicate on the job? Drawing on personal project experience, the presenter shared concrete examples of where 3D modeling has made a real difference — and where it could go further.
The session walked through how SOLIDWORKS-based 3D modeling can address the blind spots of conventional 2D drawing-based design. A particular focus was placed on the ability to catch issues early — spotting cable routing conflicts or interference between components before they become problems on the floor. Real project cases grounded the discussion and gave the insights immediate credibility.
eDrawings also featured prominently. The presenter highlighted how the tool makes it easy to share both 3D models and 2D drawings with other departments and external partners — reducing the back-and-forth that typically slows down design reviews and opening up new possibilities for using the same materials in external communications.
ACEWORKS plans to keep building its internal design capabilities through regular seminars, while fostering a collaborative culture that puts the latest tools to work across the organization.
