CONTROLWORKS, Attends Self-Driving Living Lab General Workshop
Self-driving Living Lab
CONTROLWORKS' ACELAB headquarters attended a workshop on self-driving living labs (demonstrated cities) held at the YBM Training Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, on December 14-15.
Self-driving Living Lab refers to the work of demonstrating autonomous driving technology secured through R&D at the city level.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport alone will invest 45 billion won by 2027 and more than 100 billion won in pan-ministerial units.
CONTROLWORKS, is in charge of research and development of special-purpose autonomous vehicles for urban environment management services in Living Lab projects.
Special purpose vehicles include vehicles such as cleaning cars and emergency vehicles for environmental maintenance.
Through the roughly five-year Living Lab operation, CONTROLWORKS, was given the opportunity to preoccupy development through high-quality test data before commercialization, to express opinions as a working-level agency on policies and systems to be applied to Korea in the future. (The End)
