Park Seung-beom, CEO of ControlWorks, is giving a lecture at the startup session of the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers' Fall Conference on the 15th.
Park Seung-beom, CEO of ControlWorks, said on the 15th, "Just as Tesla in the United States opened up new horizons in the automotive industry, ControlWorks, armed with diverse solutions, will support Korea in leading the future mobility era."
CEO Park made this statement during a special lecture at the startup session of the 2023 Fall Conference hosted by the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers at UECO in Ulsan Metropolitan City. The lecture's topic was 'Digital Datum: Is it truly necessary for Korea to lead the future mobility era?'
He said, "Tesla has sold 400,000 vehicles using FSD (Full Self Driving) in North America, and these vehicles have already collected 250 million miles of driving data," and emphasized, "We must reflect on Tesla's case, where they create new value from data collected using vehicles sold to general consumers."
Therefore, CEO Park stated, "Survival will be difficult for any company in the future mobility era if they do not follow the path of companies like Tesla," and added, "That is why ControlWorks, which has secured solutions for electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and software verification, will play a role in the process of Korean companies leading the future mobility era."
ControlWorks announced its merger with ACE Lab on the 1st, promising to generate synergy for sustained growth in electric vehicles and autonomous vehicles for clients, including global finished car manufacturers and IT companies, both domestically and internationally.
