Lim Jong-seok, Head of the Business Division, is presenting on the 2026 market and technology trends.

Lim made the remarks on the 7th during his presentation, titled “Beyond Electrification: 2026 Market and Technology Trends ACEWORKS Should Watch,” at the September All-Hands Meeting held at ACEWORKS’ headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul. He explained that the diversification of electrification, the mass production of software-defined vehicles (SDVs), the expansion of autonomous driving and robotics, and the growth of the AI semiconductor market are creating new demands for validation and verification technologies.

According to Lim, the electrification market is being reshaped from a structure centered on battery electric vehicles into one in which hybrid vehicles and extended-range electric vehicles coexist. At the same time, the full-scale mass production of SDVs and the spread of Physical AI are rapidly expanding both the scope of validation and the methods used to conduct it.

In particular, Lim noted that autonomous driving technologies are expanding beyond vehicles into robots and unmanned systems. As the growth of AI semiconductors increases demand for validation and measurement of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, he assessed that ACEWORKS can leverage its technological capabilities accumulated in the automotive industry and expand them into new sectors.

ACEWORKS’ efforts to strengthen collaboration with global technology companies, including Vector, with which it signed a technology cooperation agreement in July, are also seen as a response to these emerging trends.

ACEWORKS is also further advancing its existing capabilities in vehicle controller and HILS validation while expanding into software-based virtual validation, integrated data pipelines, and AI training model validation based on changes in the market. In particular, the company is broadening its traditionally automotive-focused business portfolio into diverse fields, including autonomous driving, robotics, semiconductors, and defense, raising expectations for long-term growth and results.
