Kang-yoon Lee, Vice President (Head of Strategic Planning) of ACEWORKS, emphasized the importance of industry-academic cooperation in the field of future mobility during a special guest lecture at Kookmin University's College of Future Mobility on the 15th.

The lecture, held at the Automotive Engineering Building of Kookmin University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, was attended by about 60 people, including undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty members from the College of Future Mobility.

Vice President Lee delivered a one-hour presentation titled "Mobility Control: Managing Complexity." In his lecture, he analyzed the increasingly complex software development environment for vehicle control following the advent of the SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) era. He also explained the necessity of systems engineering thinking and the importance of MBD (Model-Based Design) development and verification processes to effectively manage these complexities.

Particularly highlighting the significance of industry-academic partnerships, Lee stated, "Based on the experience accumulated at actual development sites, we need an engineering perspective that can structurally understand and simplify complex systems."

Building on its expertise in control and verification technologies developed in future mobility sectors such as electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and SDVs, ACEWORKS continues to expand its exchanges not only within the industry but also with educational and research fields. Moving forward, ACEWORKS plans to continue sharing practical knowledge through industry-academic cooperation and contribute to the growth of the future mobility ecosystem.
