ACEWORKS Showcases Advanced Technology at ATE Korea 2026

ACEWORKS (CEO Seung-beom Park), an autonomous driving specialist, made a strong impression at Automotive Testing Expo (ATE) Korea 2026, held from the 18th to the 20th of last month at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

ATE Korea 2026 is the premier event for cutting-edge technologies and services in automotive testing, evaluation, and quality engineering. This year's expo brought together more than 120 automotive verification solution providers from around the world, with over 1,500 of the latest solutions on display — spanning autonomous driving (ADAS), EV powertrains, and battery testing.

ACEWORKS took center stage as a key player in Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) and autonomous driving verification, spotlighting three flagship technologies: HILS (Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation), ADSmart (autonomous driving actuator), and mMTB (Mobile Motor Test Bench).

ADSmart, the company's proprietary precision control solution for steering and braking, drew particular attention after live demonstrations on the expo floor left attendees impressed with its autonomous driving control capabilities.

The mMTB, developed through a technical collaboration with Germany's MOTEON, is a portable motor test bench that enables precise performance testing of small EV motors without the limitations of a fixed facility — offering a highly flexible solution for real-world development environments.

ACEWORKS' participation carries added significance given the broader context: South Korea is rapidly establishing itself as a global automotive technology hub, and the industry as a whole is undergoing a fundamental shift toward software-defined architectures.

"This expo reaffirmed that virtual environment verification is becoming an indispensable part of ensuring next-generation vehicle quality," an ACEWORKS representative said. "We're also proud to have demonstrated how our own proprietary technology — ADSmart — combined with our global partnership with MOTEON, can give Korean automotive suppliers a competitive edge as they expand into international markets."
