Aceworks Successfully Concludes ACE Academy with Training on Latest Embedded and Communication Technologies
Future mobility tech company Aceworks successfully hosted its in-house training program, ACE Academy, from September 17 to 18. The program featured lectures by Professor Myoungho Sunwoo, Distinguished Professor at Korea University, who delivered in-depth sessions on embedded real-time systems, SCI/SPI communication methods, and the CAN protocol.
The lecture explored the characteristics and design constraints of real-time embedded systems, introducing various scheduling techniques along with real-world applications in automobiles and aircraft. Participants also gained a clearer understanding of the fundamentals of digital communication through discussions on the structures and data-transfer mechanisms of SCI and SPI serial communication.
Particularly noteworthy was the advanced lecture on the CAN protocol, a core communication method in the automotive industry. Professor Sunwoo covered CAN message transmission structures, error detection and recovery mechanisms, as well as the emerging CAN FD (Flexible Data Rate) technology, connecting the content to the latest industry trends.
More than just technical training, this ACE Academy provided a practical foundation for Aceworks engineers to systematically learn global standard technologies and apply them directly to ongoing projects.
