ACEWORKS Holds 2025 Division Workshops, Showcasing AI-Driven Work Innovation

ACEWORKS, a future mobility tech company, recently brought all of its divisions together — SDV, ES, FM, Management, and SP — for its 2025 Divisional Workshops, held at The Lounge at the company's Yeoksam-dong headquarters in Seoul. Each division took stock of what it accomplished in 2025 and took part in substantive discussions about priorities and direction heading into 2026.
A standout theme across divisions was AI. Every team shared examples of how they had woven AI into their day-to-day work over the course of the year, with the common finding that AI-driven workflows delivered real gains in efficiency and output. The sessions also gave the company an opportunity to reaffirm its identity as a technology-first organization, with concrete plans taking shape around how each division will deepen and broaden its use of AI in 2026.
One moment from the workshop that drew particular interest was a reflection from Young-jun Ban, a researcher in the SDV Division and recipient of the 2025 Seoyeon Academic Award from the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers. Ban shared his impressions of his first stretch at ACEWORKS. "I see my time here as the process of taking research and turning it into something real," he said. "Watching the autonomous driving algorithms I developed at university find their way into actual services — including emergency autonomous driving — has been a crash course in what field-driven technology development really looks like." Ban also spoke to his ambitions going forward: to help build autonomous driving technology that can be genuinely trusted, grounded in rigorous simulation and step-by-step verification, and to push the boundaries of what the technology can do.
