ACEWORKS Launches Superfast Battery Cell Simulator 50X Faster Than Previously

ACEWORKS Superfast Battery Cell Simulator (BCS) 'BCS-XP5'
ACEWORKS, a South Korean electric vehicle technology company, has launched its high-speed battery cell simulator (BCS-XP5).
BCS is a simulation device that can test a battery in a virtual environment. It can shorten the test and verification time and reduce the risk in the early stages of battery development.
"The BCS-XP5 can be controlled and measured 50 times faster than the existing BCS," said Park Seung-beom, CEO of ACEWORKS.
The battery is inspected by simulating a method of transmitting battery current through its own current control (linear) method. The BCS-XP5 has accelerated its inspection by applying high-performance real-time communication protocol EtherCAT.
"As the battery market grows and the required performance is advanced, we will do our best to provide ultra-fast and state-of-the-art solutions in response," said an official from Ace Works.
