ACEWORKS Supplies Self-Driving Vehicles for V2V Research at an Automotive Research Institute
ACEWORKS, a future mobility technology company, recently supplied autonomous vehicles to domestic automotive research institutes that will be used for autonomous vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2X) communication research.
According to ACEWORKS on the 26th, V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) communication and V2X (Vehicle to Everything) communication are called core technologies of autonomous driving and future mobility. V2V communication is about sharing driving information, location information, and traffic conditions in real time through communication with other autonomous vehicles, and V2X is a communication technology that guarantees safe autonomous driving by exchanging information on vehicles, people, infrastructure, and finally all road traffic based on V2V technology.
ACEWORKS is said to have provided an optimal full platform for V2V research with various sensors, including radar and lidar, and electronic controls for steering and acceleration/deceleration control of vehicles at the request of related agencies (see photo).
