ACEWORKS Unveils “2025 Electrification Technology Trends”

ACEWORKS shared its "2025 Automotive Electrification Technology Trends" outlook at its November all-hands meeting, led by Jong-seok Im, Head of the Business Division. The session paired a look at how global automakers are reshaping their electrification strategies with a presentation of how ACEWORKS is positioning itself to respond.

Im walked attendees through the key technology trends driving the industry — EV-dedicated modular platforms, electrified powertrains, integrated high-voltage systems, thermal management systems, and centralized domain control architectures. The throughline, he argued, is clear: high power density, lightweighting, and system integration are where the electrification race will be won or lost.

The meeting also marked the debut of the ACEWORKS Engineering Solution — an integrated development and verification framework built for the SDV era. The solution is organized around four pillars:

  • Software Development & Verification

  • Hardware Development & Verification

  • System Development & Verification

  • Mobility-Level Development & Verification

Together, these environments support everything from component-level development for electrification and autonomous driving hardware, to complex system functionality and durability testing, to full vehicle-level integration and performance validation.

A dedicated Mobility Tech Trend segment outlined where ACEWORKS is headed next. Building on its foundation in EV modular platforms and electrified powertrains, the company plans to extend its modular, platform-based engineering solutions across a broad range of domains — including integrated high-voltage and thermal management systems, centralized domain control, ADAS/AD, cloud-connected DAQ, AI development, and robotics.

"ACEWORKS will help shape the next ecosystem of the future mobility industry, grounded in verification technologies that span both hardware and software," Im said. "As a technology partner that gets ahead of what customers need — rather than reacting to it — we will continue building our competitiveness in the global market."

Looking ahead, ACEWORKS plans to step up its R&D across the core pillars of next-generation mobility — electrification, autonomous driving, AI, and robotics — continuing to drive innovation in close partnership with customers at home and abroad.
