ACEWORKS Accelerates Custom HILS Development at Headquarters Workshop

ACEWORKS, a verification technology specialist, designs and builds its HILS (Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation) equipment entirely in-house — at a dedicated workshop on the ground floor of its headquarters — as the company continues to deepen its capabilities in advanced mobility verification.
Precise HILS-based verification is a prerequisite for validating the safety and performance of next-generation vehicle technologies, from autonomous driving systems and EV Electronic Control Units (ECUs) to Battery Management Systems (BMS). ACEWORKS develops its HILS equipment from the ground up, tailoring each system to the specific requirements of its clients and building out integrated verification environments that closely mirror real-world operating conditions.
The workshop floor currently holds a number of large-scale HILS systems in the final stages before delivery. Hardware design and software development happen side by side in the same space, enabling tight coordination throughout the build process. The control algorithms and test scenarios embedded in each system are also developed on-site — keeping design intent and implementation closely aligned, and ensuring both the quality and operational efficiency of the finished equipment.
Beyond manufacturing, the workshop functions as a fully integrated development hub — bringing together verification automation, real-time simulation, and multi-interface integration under one roof. It is through this concentrated capability that ACEWORKS is helping to accelerate the path to commercialization for autonomous vehicles and electrification technologies.
"We deliver fast feedback and hands-on responsiveness that clients value," the company notes — a combination that translates directly into the tailored, high-performance testing environments ACEWORKS provides for ECU and electronic component verification.
ACEWORKS will continue to invest in and advance its custom equipment development capabilities, with the goal of cementing its position as a trusted verification partner in the global mobility market.
