ACEWORKS announced the “2025 Electrification Technology Trends of Global Automakers” during its November company-wide meeting. The session, led by Jong-Seok Lim, Head of the Business Development Division, shared insights into the structural evolution of electrification in global OEMs and ACEWORKS’ corresponding technology strategies.
Lim introduced key global technology trends, including dedicated modular EV platforms, electrified powertrains, integrated high-voltage systems, thermal management systems, and centralized domain control systems. He emphasized that high power density, lightweight design, and system integration are at the core of competitiveness in the electrification era.
The session also featured the unveiling of ACEWORKS Engineering Solution, an integrated development and validation framework designed for the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) era. The solution is built upon four pillars:
▲ Software development/validation environment
▲ Hardware development/validation environment
▲ System development/validation environment
▲ Mobility-level development/validation environment
Each environment enables component-level development of electrified and autonomous driving hardware, functional and durability testing of complex systems, and performance validation at the complete vehicle level.
Through the “Mobility Tech Trend” segment, ACEWORKS also presented its direction for technological expansion. Centered on modular EV platforms and electrified powertrains, the company plans to deliver modular and platform-based engineering solutions for integrated high-voltage and thermal management systems, centralized domain control systems, ADAS/AD systems, cloud-connected DAQ, AI development, and robotics systems.
Lim stated, “ACEWORKS will lead the creation of a new ecosystem in the future mobility industry based on its verification technologies that integrate both hardware and software. As a proactive technology partner, we will continue to enhance our global competitiveness by anticipating customer needs.”
Moving forward, ACEWORKS aims to expand its R&D efforts in key future mobility domains — electrification, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence (AI), and robotics — and continue driving innovation in next-generation mobility technologies in collaboration with global partners.
