ACEWORKS unveiled its next-generation mobility core technology, the "SDV Integrated Controller HILS (Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation)," for the first time at the Vector Conference 2026 held at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido on the 20th of last month.

The newly unveiled SDV Integrated Controller HILS is the first outcome of the partnership between AceWorks and Vector following their memorandum of understanding (MOU) on technical cooperation signed on July 1. It was developed by combining ACEWORKS' SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) verification technology and AI-based automation technology with Vector's VT System.
A key feature of the SDV Integrated Controller HILS is its configuration to precisely verify complex interfaces and real-time operating states among multiple controllers running on an SDV E/E architecture. In particular, it can detect and verify various errors that may occur during inter-controller communication and system integration prior to actual vehicle development.
Another notable aspect is the integration of AI technology, which significantly raises the level of automation in test bench configuration and verification processes. By automating test environment setup and verification scenario execution—tasks that previously required significant time and resources from engineers—it shortens development and verification lead times while simultaneously improving the efficiency of repetitive testing and the reliability of verification.
At the conference, ACEWORKS delivered a presentation on "Case Studies of SDV Test Bench Configuration and Verification Automation Using AI," introducing integrated verification technologies required in an SDV environment and test automation methods leveraging AI.
The SDV Integrated Controller HILS is evaluated as particularly significant because it combines Vector’s VT System hardware infrastructure—widely used throughout the global automotive industry—with ACEWORKS' accumulated vehicle controller and HILS verification capabilities, alongside its AI-based verification automation technology.
